This could be a really long story so Ill tell ya the short version. Our house settled on top of our sewer line, which busted it.(Because we live out so far west, the soil is always moist and moving which made the front of our house move) So our sewer backed up in our house and under my front lawn and now we are paying thousands to get a new pipe placed correctly under the house, clean up the damage, get new carpet etc. It has been a royal nightmare around here, Ive cryed more the past week then ever. My kids and I have been sick for a long time, I just could not get better and now we are coming to the understanding that its because of the sewer in our house and water. Which makes me sick again thinking about it. So we are staying up at my moms for the week until the probably and get fixed and my basement can get cleaned up and my water has been checked and this house is safe to stay in again. My question is, how does something like this happen, and why to me. I feel like my house is infested with feces and germs and the smell with testify to it. I pray that the recovery will be quick because my kids miss their house and stuff. I dont know why things like this happen to us but Im trying to understand.

That is so sad, what a huge pain for you guys. I am so sorry you have to go through all that. I am glad your family is close at least and you are not in Tooele. If you need anything at all please let us know. Our door is always open for you guys.
Oh Mir, I am so sorry. I don't understand why things like this have to happen either, especially to such a cute family like you guys. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do..I am sure you are well taken care of at your mom's but I bet it's hard being away from your comfort and stuff. I guess on a positive note you get new carpet so that means FRESH new smell..right?! We for sure need this GNO so you can get away and have some fun girl time! Love ya girl!
What a disaster! Miriam, I am so sorry. Anything house related it just a nightmare. Let us know if we can do anything. We'd love to come see you guys when you are back at your house.
Houses are so hard to have sometimes and I feel SO bad for you! I also know how hard it is to feel so sick and take care and try to be the happy mom who's there for everyone. Hang in there, I'll be praying for a speedy house recovery!
Oh my gosh Miriam...I am so sorry for you guys! That is so crappy!...literaly:) In my little way I can relate...a few weeks ago our dishwasher broke and we've been handwashing dishes forever and the other day it just really started stinking in our kitchen and I opened up the dishwasher and it was filled with moldy nasty water which come to find out was slowly leaking into our storage room! We hauled out the old dishwasher and it spilled this nasty water gunk all over the kitchen and I just feel like I will never have a germ free floor again...let me know if I can help you clean or anything! Hey...you should come a play with us while you're staying at your mom's...call me!
Oh Miriam! I am so sorry! What a mess! It totally sucks when stuff that your depend isn't working. I can't even imagine what you are going through. And then to be sick on top of it all! I hope things start to get better for you guys soon!

Oh, bless your heart you guys!!! THat is terrible. I am just so glad that you had somewhere you could go until everything got worked out. I have never heard of anything like that--I am sure you are just "loving" life right now:( I'm so sorry. Does insurance cover any of this mess? I sure hope so. Well, now you can get the new carpet that you wanted! ;) Take care you guys. We'll pray for your sanity!! ;)
Wow. You and me both! We had sewage leak into our house too. Ultimate disgusto! It came through both tuna and up under the water heater to the carpet. So ya, we just got new carpet as well. I totally feel for you. I'm sorry and wish a fast fix up.
